Walking Boldy

Written by: Kaytonia Lewis

What is BOLD? Bold is an adjective: (of a person, action, or idea) showing an ability to take risks; Confident and courageous According to oxfords dictionary.

I can truly say that in my life God has been so BOLD and good to me! But in last two years God has really been BOLD in my Life. I got my mind back. I got my smile back. I began to love myself again. I had been broken from past hurts of childhood and adult relationships.  There were negative words that were spoken over me, even my own thoughts of self-doubts, and negative things. They had caused me not to love myself the way God intended me to. God had equipped me with courage and boldness when I was born. I never paid attention to it or was made more aware at all. With these distractions in my life some major, some small but were trying to cause me to fall. Theses distractions & the negative thoughts & things of life and shame-fullness was the poison in my life!

As a woman sometimes we allow things, kids, spouses, and work to stress us out. Why?

I believe it’s not on purpose but it happens and is important that we know what to do! You can set boundaries in your life for people and things that you choose to deal with. Get a schedule, stay on task, be accountable to yourself and self-check! It all takes time to adjust and work it! See in life stress can cause high anxiety & sadness that was leading to a world of depression. To keep you stuck. Can I say BUT God had plans for me!!! The Bible says “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; And before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Jeremiah‬ 1:5‬ KJV ‬‬He has opened my understanding the more. I desired courage & strength to be BOLD and move forward in life. That’s when God began to open my eyes to the fact that he had already equipped me at birth! The enemy had been trying to stop me! With doubts, fears & codependency issues there’s just a few!

The Great I am said we are fearfully and wonderfully made. With the authority that God gives me I began to speak things into my life. In Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah‬ 29:11‬ KJV‬‬. So remember to walk in your boldness and be great! God has already equipped you from birth and do it BOLDLY!
