Game Over

By: Prophetess Natisha E. Wilson

I don’t care how many times you played the game.  One thing is for certain and two is for sure; you can’t play hide and seek with God and win.  No matter how hard you try, it can’t be done.  I learned this the hard way. God makes all the rules and this race is definitely no game.

Reverse the hands of time and I was only 16 years old when I was born again.  Oh happy days they were…21 years and counting today.  Still, by the time I was 18 years old I was preaching the Word of God.  I was in love with God; on fire, sold out, in awe, lit for Christ.  You couldn’t tell me anything.  As I grew in Holiness and walked with God, He called me to evangelize.  Just like a superhero flying high in the sky, my heart said ‘No fear, I am here God.  Use me.’  Use me, He did.

Fast forward a few years and throw in a dose of maturity, some suffering and some growth.  Did I mention suffering?  My anointing shifted.  With persecution comes promotion.  God called me to the office of a prophet.  The “game” then began.  I ran for my life!  I hid. I ducked. I dodged. I called myself hiding from God.  Ha!  There’s no such thing.  Right?  Foolishly, I tried to shake it.  I tried to allude it.  I thought I could just ignore it.  My God! I wish I knew then what I know now.  Let the truth be revealed.  When they say, love lifted me…oh it surely did but so did chastisement.  With nowhere to hide, my “game” was over.  He found me.  I surrendered to the call.  I obeyed His voice.  He unleashed this prophetic gift within me.

So, you see…your story doesn’t have to be my story.  Why run from God when you know that you can’t really hide?  Release fear and say yes.  Yield to the call.  Say ‘yes’ to the assignment.  Be courageous.  Stand out!  Rise up and speak!! He is calling you even now.  God is raising up an army that is totally all about Kingdom.  He has reserved a remnant who aren’t for their own agenda or their own glory and those who are turned off by the things of this world.  It is because of His love that we have been predestined.  Your destiny awaits!  I compel you to come forth!  Stir up the gift.  He has called you for such a time as this!  Stop running.  No more excuses.  Go with the shift. Go forth and soar!  Be unleashed!
